Particularly with refurbishment or extension projects the sub floor may need to be raised slightly so the new floor finish is at one level or where old tiles have been removed and the floor is simply to uneven or rough to receive the new topping. Small differences in levels is often over looked or is not apparent until a wall is knocked down for example.
Traditional sand and cement screeds cannot always provide the solution as they shouldn't be laid at less than 50-60mm thick. We can provide fast drying and early high strength screeds and levelling compounds which can be laid from 3mm to 40mm onto screed or timber. Surface applied liquid Damp proof membranes are also a solution we can offer if the traditional method of laying a plastic membrane isn't feasible.
